Personal Experience

After a chat with my tutor, he said I ought to look into personal embarassment… and why I personally find situations awkward because it’ll make my work more interesting.

the bus experience

school bus experience- every morning for 5 years I used to have to catch the public bus to school. I was the last stop before the A3, so the bus was ALWAYS full, and there would never be a choice of double seats. AND to make it worse, I stood out like a lightbulb because I was the only girl from Tormead (all girls private school…ouch I know) whereas everyone else came from the local state school George Abbot. So it was constant pressure not to embarrass myself, because all eyes were always on me, and I there was this instant hatred for the private school girl, and I knew it.
As soon as I moved to George Abbot for 6th form, everything changed. I didn’t have that uniform labelling me anymore, and the journey was 10 times less awkward.

Skipping down the river thames

this was painful enough… and it wasn’t even that bad! I can’t do personal embarassment… its not happening!
