1st Day Back in the Studio

  1. Hand in proposal and action plan
This proposal and action plan was really difficult to do, because HOW on earth are we meant to know what we’re going to be doing in a couple of weeks time with a project we’ve only just come up with?! It seemed stupid, to be writing down what I would be doing at the end of my project, when I didn’t even know what I was going to do at the start… let alone where my research or development takes me!

Here is my proposal…

2. Make a mind map of ideas, but in SO MUCH DEPTH. Note down absolutely everything about your proposed topic.
This was actually quite interesting to do, and it helped that I had already started my research!

3 lines of enquiry – reactions, personal space & awkward british people!

This excersise was really useful to work out a title for my project. After highlighting all the important bits, it was easier to come up with an idea for a title. It was a toss up between ‘NORM OF MODESTY’ and ‘WHY ARE YOU BLUSHING.’
In the end, the majority voted “Why Are You Blushing?”
Most people said it was very catchy and stood out, and someone even said it sounded like an album title…haha.

Project Title: Why Are You Blushing?
