This was my attempt to create something similar to Vasconcelos's Garden of Eden, using fairy lights as the bulb of the flower, and then wire and various materials like different coloured fabrics, plastics and papers to make the petals. Wasn't very successful, so I won't pursue this idea further, but it has created some nice colours and patterns, not so much texture though, which I want to focus on.
