This exercise took place at Peckham complex car park. The idea was to respond to the space and its surroundings by creating a temporary piece of work within the space, by making an 'intervention' that comments on the space, or a piece that reflects our personal ideas about the space, it's architecture or its surroundings. From the car park we had a great view of london, so we decided to re-create some of the famous buildings in the landscape. We used string and masking tape and created the landscape between two columns. We tried to be a bit different than everyone else who were drawing on the walls. With our intervention, you can walk round it and view it from different angles, rather than just from in front. It created a great piece of work to draw from, especially with all the different lines, angles and lines interfering with the background causing more lines and angles.
