drawing machine no. 1

This was my first drawing machine. 4 paintbrushes poked through the holes at the bottom of a plant pot, then suspended above the paper with string. I dipped the brushes into ink, and then spun the pot in circles so each paintbrush would hit the paper at random. The paintbrushes were varied in thicknesses, thus causing different mark makings on the paper. This created a strange and random pattern. So simple.
