drawing machine no. 2

This drawing machine was smaller, more manual, and less reliant on random mark makings from the paintbrush. It was made out of two pieces of packaging (similar to egg box material) that I had found in a bin, two cups, several elastic bands tied onto the cups and the paintbrush in the middle. The way this drawing machine worked, depended on how far apart i stretched the two cups from each other, then causing the thickness and smoothness of the line to vary. When i stretched the cups quite far apart, the paintbrush lines were thin and jerky.
I attempted to draw my friend sitting down cross legged. Its not entirely obvious, but I don't think it needs to be.
