I watched this programme called School of Saatchi, and although I really disliked the programme and pretty much all the work that was produced, some of the artists did say a couple of interesting lines that I thought were worthy of sharing:

see something differently

see the world differently

think differently

feel differently

Art can be a profound emotional experience

Art can effect a change in the mind of the viewer

If something moves you, there is a reason for it, and if you can spend the time trying to transcribe that reason, you can gain a better understand of what it is and what has suddenly pushed you to receive something from it.
