This next exercise was carrying on from our previous exercise. We had to choose one of our 30 things to develop in 30 different ways.
I chose a simple empty speech bubble shape that was meant to represent “words fail me.” I chose this because it was so simple that I knew I could manipulate this easily and completely change it.
Here are a few things I did to my speech bubble. Cut it up; spread it out, and re draw. Scrunch it up, and draw on the creases. Make it 3d. Give it to someone else to draw. Do a rubbing. Use carbon paper. Make fingerprints. Masking tape it up. Make stencils. The consequences game! Draw it, turn it 90 degrees and redraw. Draw with no hands….etc
